Clean & Simple Boutique Cards

I've completed my third class towards my certification, Clean & Simple Boutique Cards. This was, by far, my favorite class so far. I love the look of simple cards. Quick & easy to create, and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Here are my four projects: Just a quick, simple card using stencils to color the flowers & leaves. Add a quick sentiment and done! Repeat the same stamp all over, and quickly watercolor using two colors for each box. Foil makes all the difference in a simple stamped card. The gold mirror specialty paper is the star on this card. A simple black & white image would work just fine for this very simple design, but I just couldn't help myself and I had to color this beautiful image.

Moving Along

Hello my friends, and welcome back! My Altenew certification journey continues with All About Layering 4. This class has eight lessons within it, so I created 8 cards, one for each lesson. In the last class, I tried to make the cards my own, but this class, All About Layering 4, the instructor taught me some new tricks for different backgrounds. I used different focal points, but I took what I learned from the instructor, and practiced these new tricks for the backgrounds. Here are my cards. Enjoy! The Journey Begins

Welcome to my Altenew journey! I'm currently taking courses to get certified as an Altenew instructor. This blog will be where I post any projects and classes I'm offering. To get certified, a candidate has to complete 3 levels which contain 10 courses each. I finally finished my first course, which was a long one, All About Layering 3. I created a card for each of the 6 lessons in the first course.  Lesson 1 Lesson 2 Lesson 3 Lesson 4 Lesson 5 Lesson 6
